Project implementation
Project implementation is a set of activities that transform a standard software product into an efficient automated information system that provides accounting capabilities beyond the scope of standard configurations.
CONTO Company provides a comprehensive range of project implementation services based on Business Automation Software (BAS) products.
What is project implementation?
Many enterprises create their business processes based on industry best practices or utilize standardized processes, yet uniqueness exists in every company. This could be a small localization of best practices or a unique combination of standard processes, or even a completely unique approach to organizational management, tailored to the specific country, market niche, or competitive environment. It is precisely this uniqueness and individuality that enable enterprises to survive in a changing world, and comprehensive automation enables them to become much more efficient and adaptable to external conditions.
Single database and accounting subsystems

Most BAS software products have the characteristic of universality, meaning the system can be applied to enterprises of different profiles, industry specifics, and scales, provided that the necessary configuration or programming (customization) is performed to accommodate the unique business processes of the enterprise. This is one of the main advantages of BAS systems.
Project implementation is the process of adapting a software product to the target business processes of the enterprise. Since each enterprise is unique in its own way, the implementation of an ERP system is always a project with defined goals, timelines, and expected outcomes.
During implementation, business processes are evaluated, and recommendations for their optimization are developed. Configuration and/or customization of the underlying software are performed, user training is conducted, migration from disparate and outdated systems takes place, and the system is launched into operation. Intensive methodological and technical support is provided in the initial months after the launch of the new ERP system into operation.
Project lifecycle

Who needs and why implement an ERP system?
In 90% of cases, the main initiators and stakeholders are the financial director, chief accountant, and company director.
It often happens that the initiator and driving force behind the project of total digitization with BAS ERP are the IT director, HR director, production director, chief technologist, logistics manager, but without the deep involvement of the financial director, chief accountant, and director, as evidenced by our 20+ years of experience, successful implementation of the ERP system or other management system does not occur.
Enterprises digitize their processes and create a unified information field in order to effectively manage and, as a result, reduce costs and maximize profit.
Statistics based on surveys of key enterprise users on important performance parameters following the implementation of BAS ERP are provided below.

The advantages of CONTO in project implementation
- The optimal technology for implementing an ERP system. CONTO has been involved in comprehensive automation of Ukrainian enterprises since 1999. Since 2002, the company has been certified to the ISO 9001 standard, which means that we strictly adhere to quality management principles such as strong customer focus, leadership engagement, process approach, and continuous improvement in our work.
- We are skilled at managing many risks of project implementation, so most of our projects are completed without significant deviation from planned timelines and functionality.
- We constantly measure project parameters – progress, actual versus planned schedule analysis, and maintain close collaboration with business process owners and the main system sponsor (project sponsor). The involvement of the client’s personnel in the project significantly affects project timelines, and we strive to ensure our interaction is effective.
- We develop documentation to the extent sufficient for system adaptation and launch, avoiding excessive documentation because most documentation quickly becomes outdated, yet its development increases implementation time and cost.
- We program systems according to best practices, using standard configuration mechanisms and platforms (BSP, SDK, etc.), without ‘breaking’ standard functionality, meticulously commenting our code according to accepted rules. As a result, the system is easier to maintain, modify, and further adapt, and our code is a ‘disposable’ asset that can be understood by another qualified programmer.
All implementation services aim to launch the ERP system into industrial operation within tight deadlines with specified quality.
